7 months agoFrom our first contact all the way through to our final day of check out, Bluewater’s communication and customer service was nothing short of AMAZING!! Being as we had 3 families (totaling 15 people) staying under 1 roof, there were lots of questions. We made multiple calls and were always greatly warmly and never made to feel rushed. They even sent us information on activities going on during our stay which we greatly appreciated. We ended up renting several bikes and a couple golf carts from their office, conveniently located less than a block from our home. Upon arrival the home looked exactly like it did in the picture. Spacious, CLEAN, and modern. The community had a swimming pool, was well maintained and even had a cute pond the kids loved fishing in. Can’t really speak for any of the other reviews but our stay was INCREDIBLE and just what our families needed. Thank you Bluewater! 10/10.

almost 4 years agoThese people are thieves - do not rent. These people are unethical. Would not work in good faith to reschedule or refund a vacation from 2020 and then 2021 when COVID was raging and Michigan was closed down. Took $6k of deposit money and never gave it back, then refused to communicate or work to resolve the issues. Bad people!

almost 4 years agoDO NOT rent with Bluewater Vacation Rentals. Terrible customer service, they steal your money, the front desk will screen your calls, and no one will help. My family never got our deposits back ($6K) worth, despite them renting out the homes. It clearly states this in the rental agreement- yet we were never refunded the money. After we cancelled our reservations, multiple attempts were made to discuss the rental of the homes and refunding of our deposits. They will not contact you despite these attempts to communicate both email, phone, and certified letter. I have attempted for over a year to get a response and refund from them to no avail. I have rented with many vacation rentals and without a doubt this company is the worst and not worth losing your money or terrible customer service.
