We've stayed at Martha's Vineyard Bed & Breakfast every summer for years, and it continues to be one of our favorite places to stay in South Haven. Patty and Bruce are wonderful hosts and always make us feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The location is ideal, close to the beaches and a great home base for enjoying the area's local arts, wineries, and everything else South Haven has to offer. It's also the perfect place to simply kick back and relax if that's what you're looking for, or head out and explore the area. We always look forward to coming back!

Impeccable service!! from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Betty we knew that we had made the right decision to book our stay at Martha's Vineyard. Our stay was lovely, quite and beautiful property that is close enough to enjoy downtown South Haven. The breakfast prepared by Betty and her personalized notes were top of the line. We enjoyed seeing the deer roam on the property and relaxing in the hammock. Our private patio had the best views! We will most certainly be back!

Marilyn and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Martha's Vineyard. We also visited downtown South Haven and it's shops and restaurants. Breakfast on the veranda was delicious and the grounds were very nice. Also we liked the balcony off our bedroom. Price was extremely reasonable compared to available hotel rooms in South Haven. Our hosts were very personable and helped make our short visit a memorable one.

From the moment my husband and I called to make our reservation, Patty made us feel so welcome. She greeted us with such warmth and genuine kindness and took a real interest in getting to know us. Before we even arrived, I was already excited for our stay simply because of how eager I was to meet Patty. When we arrived, that excitement only grew. Patty welcomed us like family, gave us a tour of the property, and made us feel completely at home. We stayed in the guesthouse, and it couldn't have been more peaceful. We loved listening to the birds each morning and evening, watching friendly deer wander by, and being greeted by Snoop Dogg, the sweetest cat, whenever we were around. Every morning, Patty prepared an elaborate, unbelievably delicious hot breakfast that was delivered to our door in the cutest picnic basket. We had the best room in the guesthouse, so we enjoyed "breakfast in bed" out on our private patio each morning. It was absolute bliss and one of the highlights of our trip. Even though the weather wasn't ideal—and we even briefly lost power one night—Patty and her husband, Bruce, made sure every guest was well taken care of. Even after 11 p.m., they were there making sure their generator kicked in and everything was running smoothly. Their hospitality and care for their guests were evident in every little detail. As I write this review, I'm honestly sad I'm not still there. Our three-night stay went by much too quickly, and we left feeling rested, pampered, and incredibly grateful. We're already planning a return trip next spring, and we truly can't wait. Thank you, Patty and Bruce, for creating such a special place. We can't recommend Martha's Vineyard Bed & Breakfast highly enough!

Peaceful. Beautiful grounds with abundant flowers. I enjoyed my morning coffee at the Gazebo and watched four deer wandering in nearby field. Wonderful breakfast. We also enjoyed conversation with other guests. So much attention to details throughout the house and grounds to help you feel welcome. Patty and Bruce were wonderful hosts.

Beautiful grounds, very relaxing and quiet.Great place to come home to after doing the activities of your choice in the wonderful surrounding area. Patty and Bruce are the consummate hosts. They give you recommendations if you wish and otherwise politely respect your privacy. My husband and I have used a B & B for years whenever we can. Everyone should be so lucky to be served their fabulous and creative Breakfast.

Bruce and Patty are so friendly and welcoming! We stayed for a long weekend and eloped here. The ceremony was beautiful and they were so accommodating. They took care of everything, we just had to show up! Patty had great recommendations for a photographer and restaurants in the area. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were clean and picked up every day (thank you, April). We had an unforgettable weekend! Thank you again!

I stayed here with my husband for a quiet romantic getaway. The room we stayed in was charming. Definitely a quiet place and loved seeing the deer. The breakfast was amazing and the hospitality was everything we expected. Super nice couple running the bed and breakfast. I would recommend going. They also give you lovely tips on places to check and and see which is super helpful.

Beautiful and cozy place in the middle of winter. I stayed in the back cottage. The breakfasts were incredible. They are very gracious and completely accommodated for my food allergies. Above and beyond.

DIASPPOINTING unpleasant experience with our 2 night stay at Martha's Vineyard Bed & Breakfast in South Haven. Encountered a strong smell of a deodorizer upon entering the room. Owner removed upon our request and we noticed more in the hallway. Guessing they are used to cover up smell/odors in the rooms. After moving our belongings into the room we decided to explore South Haven and enjoy some dinner. Upon returning later that evening the room was very cold so we called to trouble shoot the issue. A few hours later we went to bed and my wife woke me up as she having difficulty with the smell in the room, mouth and tongue issues, trouble breathing etc. We tried several options to make it more comfortable but with no success. We had to leave the Bed & Breakfast around 11:30 pm that nigh and there was no way to have communication with the owners as they are not available during that time. We contacted them the next morning about what happened. They offered a different room but my wife was still having issues and we did not want to experience the possibility of the same thing happening. We requested a refund for 1 night but they refused. They would only provide a refund if someone else booked the room the evening. We knew that was not going to happen since the place had several rooms already available. We felt that customer service for this type of issue was lacking. Would NEVER recommend staying at this location. DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saw your response and we can agree to disagree. You can rationalize all you want with making the argument that you feel the provided solutions offered would have provided a better stay for the second night. However, you have NO understanding on how my wife felt from inhaling the air in the room during the 3-4 hours that evening. We have stayed at many locations and have never had this problem. Then to say you stand by your decision to not provide some sort of refund due to health complications from the the air issue in the room is just wrong. We didn’t even ask for a refund from the first night of issues encountered. I can’t believe that if you experienced the same that you would be OK with this. Wishing you the best moving forward but don’t feel you handled this situation well. GOD Bless.
