We spent a couple of nights at The Carriage House and could not have asked for a better experience. The location is absolute perfection situated right with amazing views of the marina, yet an easy, short walk downtown and to the beach. The property itself is immaculate. Our room was exceptional, and having a private balcony to sit out on every morning with a cup of coffee and look out over the water was a true highlight. Breakfast was another standout part of the stay: carefully prepared, beautifully presented, delicious. To top it all off, parking was convenient and right on the property. If you are looking for a wonderful, relaxing retreat on the lakeshore, look no further than The Carriage House. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

This is a great place to stay. Our room had a nice view with a balcony which was great to sit and have a drink. The location is great to walk to North beach and not a bad walk into town. My favorite was the breakfast in the morning. Very delicious!

We had an amazing stay at the Carriage House in South Haven! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to downtown, the shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, which made it easy to leave the car parked and enjoy everything on foot. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the property had a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. We especially enjoyed exploring downtown, visiting the local wineries, and spending time at the beach. The Carriage House was the perfect home base for a relaxing weekend getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay in South Haven. Thank you for helping make our trip such a memorable one!

This was our 2nd visit at The Carriage House in South Haven Michigan and it was just an amazing as our first visit! Kelly and her staff are attentive, welcoming and fun! Our room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. It overlooks the Marina/harbor which is breathtaking! The gourmet breakfast was scrumptious. I am gluten intolerant and was thankful for their attention to that detail. My breakfasts were amazing! The location is prime and peaceful. Minutes from North beach and minutes from town! We WILL be back! Thank you for making our trip so memorable ?

This is our third time (we've visited every year the past few years) we have stayed at the Carriage house since 2023 and we can't say enough great things about it! Kelly does an amazing job making sure we have everything we need for our stay and providing all the recommendations. Our goal is to stay in each of the 12 rooms, and so far our favorite has been the one we stayed in this visit, the Phaeton Room. The breakfasts are always delicious and have beautiful presentation. Thank you for such a lovely stay and we hope to make it back next year!

This was my first visit to the CARRIAGE HOUSE and I definitely will be back! This is the BEST bed and breakfast inn l have been to! Everything about the CARRIAGE HOUSE is excellent the staff the gourmet breakfast and most of all hospitality that Kelly and her staff showed us! I look forward to going back again!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Carriage House at the Harbor! Kelli and her staff are absolutely lovely, warm, welcoming, and so attentive. I have a gluten allergy and they went out of their way to accommodate me at breakfast, which meant the world. The location is unbeatable. It’s right on the harbor, walkable to town, and perfectly situated for day trips to Holland, Saugatuck, and Grand Haven. We had a blast exploring the whole area and loved being able to walk everywhere. The room itself was beautiful and so comfortable. Everything about our stay just felt special. Highly recommend! We would go back in a heartbeat and honestly wish we could book next year right now!

We love staying at the Carriage House at the Harbor! The staff is amazing, the accommodations & ambience are outstanding. The breakfast every morning is delicious and beautifully presented! All I can say is: we LOVE IT?

Cute bed and breakfast in South Haven! We stayed here for our 7th wedding anniversary. It’s not peak season so there were not many other people staying here which made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. It has a historic vibe to it. Cozy rooms and a view of the harbor. We took advantage of the nice fire pit area and made a fire in the evening. They have a bin with everything you need to make a nice fire. I love how the website has good recommendations for places to eat and things to do - the recommendations did not disappoint! Another super nice touch was the Inn-Keeper personally introducing herself at breakfast and asking if we needed anything. She also had some wonderful recommendations for going into the town! The breakfast was unique and delicious. Served hot at 9am along with juice and coffee. This might have to be an anniversary tradition because we absolutely loved every part of staying here!
