We had a wonderful stay at Carriage House at the Harbor! The location was perfect—close to the harbor, downtown, and all the local attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We especially appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations! Everything was fresh, well prepared, and a great way to start the day. We enjoyed relaxing after a day of exploring and loved the charm and character of the property. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This was my first visit to the CARRIAGE HOUSE and I definitely will be back! This is the BEST bed and breakfast inn l have been to! Everything about the CARRIAGE HOUSE is excellent the staff the gourmet breakfast and most of all hospitality that Kelly and her staff showed us! I look forward to going back again!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Carriage House at the Harbor! Kelli and her staff are absolutely lovely, warm, welcoming, and so attentive. I have a gluten allergy and they went out of their way to accommodate me at breakfast, which meant the world. The location is unbeatable. It’s right on the harbor, walkable to town, and perfectly situated for day trips to Holland, Saugatuck, and Grand Haven. We had a blast exploring the whole area and loved being able to walk everywhere. The room itself was beautiful and so comfortable. Everything about our stay just felt special. Highly recommend! We would go back in a heartbeat and honestly wish we could book next year right now!

We love staying at the Carriage House at the Harbor! The staff is amazing, the accommodations & ambience are outstanding. The breakfast every morning is delicious and beautifully presented! All I can say is: we LOVE IT?

Cute bed and breakfast in South Haven! We stayed here for our 7th wedding anniversary. It’s not peak season so there were not many other people staying here which made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. It has a historic vibe to it. Cozy rooms and a view of the harbor. We took advantage of the nice fire pit area and made a fire in the evening. They have a bin with everything you need to make a nice fire. I love how the website has good recommendations for places to eat and things to do - the recommendations did not disappoint! Another super nice touch was the Inn-Keeper personally introducing herself at breakfast and asking if we needed anything. She also had some wonderful recommendations for going into the town! The breakfast was unique and delicious. Served hot at 9am along with juice and coffee. This might have to be an anniversary tradition because we absolutely loved every part of staying here!

We spend a weekend at the most cozy breakfast in the bed place at South Haven, was my husband birthday, beautiful place, the room was perfect with beautiful view , excellent breakfast and Kelly very nice lady give us some recommendations where to spend the day. We definitely will come back maybe in May .

Hi Kelly, Stephanie and I had a wonderful time. Everything was amazing at the Carriage House. As we told you, it's been several years since we've been there and it was like coming back home. Talking with you was wonderful, the meals and the accommodations were great and we definitely give our vacation a 10 out of 10 and if we could push it up a notch we would give it an 11. Another wonderful stay at the Carriage House this New Years Eve! South haven is beautiful this time of year. Snowy walks thru town, warm delicious breakfasts and plenty of spots in the inn to curl up with a good book or play a game of scrabble. Kelly is truly the Hostess with the Mostest!

My husband and I love South Haven, Michigan. When it’s just the two of us, we stay at the Carriage House. Our favorite thing to do is to walk from The Carriage House through the beautiful park in South Haven and into town. The walk is easy less than 10 minutes. We love walking over the drawbridge! The location is amazing. We can head in the other direction and be on the beach of Lake Michigan in less than five minutes. The gourmet breakfast and wonderful service make this our favorite bed and breakfast! We like to visit in the fall and winter, at least once a year!

We had the best stay at the Carriage House! It was our first visit, and we stayed in the Phaeton Room — spacious, cozy, clean and a beautiful porch with a view of the harbor. But the real star of the show was the breakfast. I honestly think our first morning there was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Kelly was so warm and welcoming, and we can’t wait to come back. This is officially our new favorite getaway spot!
