Overall fine with plenty of room. Relatively clean although there was a stirrer on the floor when I checked in. Bed was really comfy, but the shower head was at eye level ( tall guy struggle). Nice people, free breakfast. Would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE Especially if you are a woman who is alone. Our stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Staff: The staff made us feel very uncomfortable. Several employees stared at my mother and me as we walked by, even turning around to continue watching us. It felt invasive and unprofessional. We later looked at the reviews and there were several who complained about the same thing, I truly wish I would’ve checked first. The women working at the front desk were also rude and seemed annoyed whenever we asked for assistance. Room: The room had several serious issues. We discovered that some of the door peepholes appeared to be installed backward, allowing people outside to see into guests’ rooms. Our room door also didn’t seal properly, leaving visible gaps above the door and around the frame near the handle. When we got to our room, our beds didn’t have sheets. We were told there weren’t any available, even though there were only two cars in the parking lot. We were instructed to come back and ask again in five hours. The bathroom was in poor condition. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the refrigerator had mold growing inside it. To make matters worse, around 1:00 AM someone attempted to enter our room, which was a frightening experience. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Between the cleanliness issues, lack of basic accommodations, uncomfortable interactions with staff, and the security concerns, I would not recommend staying here.

We paid $335 for an one night stay, and upon stepping out of the elevator on our floor there was an overwhelming odor of marijuana smoke and appeared to be hanging in the air in the hallway. I had my grandchildren traveling with me and they had to breathe that in to get to our room. I informed the front desk and the reply was that the guest would be uncharged a fine when housekeeping examined the room the next day. Absolutely nothing done to stop it or make it safe for the children. There were no other rooms available nearby or we would have left and stayed elsewhere. Exposing children to drugs is unacceptable.

The Comfort Inn in South Haven, Michigan was by far the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From bugs in the room to comforters full of holes, the condition of the property was completely unacceptable. The room did not appear to be clean or properly maintained, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I expected a basic level of cleanliness and comfort, but this hotel failed to meet even those standards. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to spend the night.

I will not be staying here again. The hotel is very poorly maintained and outdated. I booked this specific hotel because they advertised a “heated pool” but the heater was broken and the pool was way too cold to swim in. The customer service was okay although the lady working night shift was crocheting and watching something on her tablet and made me feel like a huge inconvenience when I asked for a couple extra blankets for my toddlers. Then gave me the most scratchy blankets I’ve ever felt. The breakfast was fine, very basic. I spent $135/night since I booked through a third party site but they were charging $290/night for the same room I got. That is ridiculous. Not worth your money. I wish we would’ve spent a little extra and stayed at the holiday inn down the road.

Manager at hotel is extremely rude and creepy! He will stare at you uncomfortably while you eat breakfast, harass you when you come back to hotel and follow you up to your room. If a female traveler do not recommend staying alone.

Spent two nights here dropping about $450 and this hotel isn't even worth it. It's not clean you have to go downstairs every time you need anything at all. And asked for our room to be cleaned inbetween days and that never happened. Our trash n dirty laundry sat in our hallway for the whole day (the front desk told me to just put it outside the door) I'm not sure who cleans but they definitely needs to be retrained. I don't understand the pricing for theses rooms and how they get off charging what they do I wouldn't pay more than $80 TOP for this I wish I could get all my money back.

Heater didn’t work in room properly. Had hot and cold air coming out at once. No heat in the bathroom, pool cold as hell, and the front desk worker was rude and so was her customer service. Did everything in her might, not to accommodate us! Wanna say everything fine and I’m clearly telling her it’s not! I’ll NEVER stay here again!

My mother has a room there, and the front desk attendant gave my mother’s EX BOYFRIEND HER ROOM NUMBER!!! Pretended to be her fiance, asked for her room number because he seen her car there ,even though his name was on NOTHING. Then tried to justify it. Imagine my mother would’ve been hurt?????? FRONT DESK WILL GIVE YOUR ROOM NUNBER TO ANYONE EVEN IF THEIR NAME IS NOT ON THE RESERVATION!

Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room had a very strong moldy odor and felt humid. There was rocks/gravel all over the ground which my infant tried to eat. I had to request vacuuming and they said there was no cleaning crews available when I pressed them about it they gave me a vacuum and I cleaned it myself. The bottles in the shower were disgusting. The pillows were also very small - like the kind you’d have on a chair not a bed. The breakfast was ok. I appreciated they had eggs.
